Hey all,
So I know the G shock isn't the best watch out there but the range offered dose cover just about anything you could want from them at quite a low price. Recently I spent some time getting to know the features of the watch however I noticed something, I can sleep right through the alarms, I was testing this on a Saturday in case this happend but I was surprised usually I'll wake up to most things.

I've never trusted a watch alarm be it Gshock or any other. If I wear my watch to sleep it usually ends up under a pillow or something so that it isn't audible enough to wake you. That being said l love Gshock. They're great watches. I have a radio waveceptor though solar so it never needs a battery and is always spot on time! Great watch for work or any rough use.

I have the same and have worn it for about 5 years now and love it.

I've had a G Shock solar atomic Ana-digi watch for quite some time, and it has never failed me. It's a great watch. The full name is the G Shock AWGM100B-1A.

I'm normally a Timex fan myself, but I picked up one of these G-Shocks for three bucks at a garage sale.  I like it a whole lot.  It looks like it can take a good deal of abuse, and it's WR 200m, where the rest of my watches are pretty much 50m or 100m.  It's quickly becoming my EDC watch.

I have been thru 3 G-shocks over the past 25 years, the last one just needs batteries, the first lasted me over 15 years, the second I gave to someone that needed it and the 3rd I have had for over 10 years. I love the G-shock, I was introduced to them in BUD/S.

Oh well my 3rd G-Shock doesn't need a new battery but I need another watch. Not bad for a 10 year old watch.

I have an old radio-controlled solar-powered Casio G-Shock GW-810H-2ER ... seems to be unbreakable.

I'm a big G-Shock fan. My current one is about 15 years old. I think this is my 3rd one, the other two stood up to years and years of abuse in EMS. I only replaced those because they got so beat up I couldn't read them any more.

Both really good watches, but I wish they were just a bit smaller.
