I carry a Streamlight Microstream every day and my night stand light is a Surefire 6PX Tactical. What does everyone else carry?

Zebralight SC600 mk II. Fairly expensive but compact and as bright as a car headlight!

I have had my eye one those for awhile now, but unfortunately due to a grad school budget that won't be happening for a few years. How is the fit and finish/ hand feel on them?

It's a great piece of kit. Good size but a bit on the heavy side due to the battery. Hopefully it's the only flashlight I'll need for a while. I invested in an extra battery also that I probably don't need as it's held a charge for over 6 months with a fair bit of use.

Just bought a regular Maratac AAA, waiting for it to arrive. How do you like yours? How's the hue: cool, neutral?

Great little light. It is a little towards the cool side.

Neutral white or high CRI for me all the way. Currently rocking the Eagletac D25C Ti in Neutral White, been meaning to upgrade to the 2014 version with the Nichia emitter though!

Surefire LX2 for distance and a Four Sevens Mini ML as a task light. Also a Surefire Minimus in my pack for hands free work. They all use 123 batteries so keeping spares is simplified.

I'm currently on a budget, so right now my iPhone's flashlight works pretty well, as well as managing to keep down size and weight. Until I can afford a decent model, I attached a Photon light to the underside of my GORUCK GR-TAC.

I believe in cheap, readily available batteries, so I go for a 1xAA Thrunite T10 (original version). Cost me around 7€ when Thrunite was launching, and they even gave me a Thrunite Ti, what a bargain...

Great power for such a small, cheap light.

I'm searching for a good 2xAA though, to have on my backpack.

I like to stick to lights that take a regular size battery (usually AA or AAA) so my carry is limited to them.
I rotate through a Nebo Redline, a True Utlity Truelite Maxi (a really solid thick but short light), a Foursevens Quark AA, a Ledlenser P4 or P2 (pen lights).

I carry 3:

FourSevens Mini - On my car keys

Prometheus Beta QR - On my "extras" ring (SAK, Peanut Lighter, etc)

FourSevens Quark Pro 1xCR123

I really only use the Quark Pro (90% of the time) or the Prometheus ("teeth" grip when I need to go hands free)

The Mini should be able to do most of what the Quark Pro does (though the high isn't as high) but I really like the clicky of the Pro, along with the utility of all of the different modes. I wish that the Pro's flashy modes were all in the "tightened" setting, though. I don't like missing the High setting and having it go to SOS... then having to click all the way back through. I guess I could just tighten to max, but...

I also have the FourSevens Quark Turbo, so I'm familiar with the Tactical UI. I wish there was somewhere in between... We could call it Practical!

By the way, I understand that it is completely redundant to carry so many flashlights, especially one that I don't use much (i.e. the Mini). I just don't love the twisty and I find that it jumps levels really easy. I don't know if I have a bad one or if it just needs to be cleaned... but it isn't taking up much room and I DO use it if I'm ever in a situation where I just have my car keys.
