I am just wondering is anybody still using a dumb phone today or is it just me trying to to stay free of constant disruption and focus on what is really important?

If anybody else is, what is your reason?

I carry a smart phone with all alerts turned off. A few select people make my text alerts make noise, but I can count those people on one hand and all live in the same house I do.

Upshot? It’s like a dumb phone but becomes a smart phone when I actually need one.

While I use an iPhone at work and also have a private iPhone I have a couple of pre-paid burners as backup.

Because well, you never know... Also, their battery time is awesome and they get the job done if I need to go somewhere where bringing a smartphone ain't wise.

I guess the next step is to do as the drug dealers here do and have two burners ziptied together, one for incoming calls and one for outgoing.
