Anyone have a recommendation for a tool box? Not something massive that a professional would require, just something for your average home owner.

Thanks

You'll have to be a lot more specific. What kind of tools, wood working or mechanic, and how many are we talking. My personal recommendation is always buy with an eye for future needs. As a homeowner you'll more than likely end up buying a lot of tools as time goes on, and you'll end up with a jumbled up mess piled up all over rather than having a safe and organizes place for your tools.

Thanks coldwater.
It’s the jumbled up mess I am trying to avoid. I think at the moment I am just looking for something to store a core set of tools that I can take from one location of my house to the other.
I had been looking at this from Dewalt

If I were you, I'd run down to your closest Home Depot or Lowe's and snag up those last minute Christmas deals

I have been using this one at work Excel TB124-Red 14-Inch Cantilever Steel Tool Box, Red https://www.amazon.c...i_DNV8AbXMS5J9V.

Three levels and when you open it you can easily see and access every tool. Good for lots of small tools but metal so it is a little heavy.

I have been contemplating switching to a tool roll for small tools combined with a tool bag for larger items. The Atlas 45 tool rolls look pretty good. Unrolls instantly and you have full access to all your tools.

The one trouble with having all your tools in one box is that it can get way too heavy if you include power tools or things like pipe wrenches.
