Anyone have an opinion on treating leather items like boots, gloves, sheath's etc.
I have seen some good reviews on Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP

I was curious if anyone had any experience using it.
Thanks.

For the boots side at least, I've heard recommendations for Lexol care products as well as maintenance products that are beeswax based, like Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam or Obenauf products as you've mentioned.

I generally stay away from oils for my leather. I find that it soaks the fibers right through, and actually weakens them. I prefer leather cream and conditioner instead. I mostly use bag balm on my boots, and whatever cream is handy for my gun belts and holsters.

Ive only ever used mink oil and it works pretty good for me.
