Warby Parker Glasses

Durable, stylish and they donate one pair to the needy for each pair you buy

https://www.warbypar.../eyeglasses/men

Shine Craft Vessels

Big, handsome growlers that will last a lifetime

http://shinevessels....e-autumn-orange

Patron Tequila

http://www.patronteq...y?request=/home

Boblbee (now called Point65)

http://packs.point65...ee-gto-20l.html

Amazing backpacks. I still have the first one I bought 20 years ago

and there's nothing wrong with it after going all over the world,

in all kinds of weather and conditions.

Hegs Pegs

Pegs are pegs right? Wrong.

http://hegs.com.au/

Dick Smith Foods
http://www.dicksmithfoods.com.au/
Employs Australians, uses Australian products, and all profits go to charity.

As opposed to grown and packaged in the 3rd world and all profits go to a multinational corporation.

Demeter Fragrances

http://www.demeterfr...sic-Scents.html

I don't like the smell of aftershave, cologne etc. so if I want to up my game

for a date or a night out, I recommend Demeter. They make scents based

on things in the real world, including apple pie, dirt, grass, sawdust,

dark chocolate, clean skin, earl grey tea and so on.

I can't believe I forgot to include this in my old list, but damn: Victorinox.

I use their SAKs, luggage, accessories, even nail clipper and fragrance, and not one has impressed me less than 100%. I will be carrying SAKs to my deathbed.

..as i look at the picture of folks' gear i can't help but be blown away by how much some of the things people carry daily.
Maybe it's me..maybe this site is not the "place" for me..either way, i never spend any more on everyday carry stuff than i'm willing to part with or see broken..and saddles, knives, and jeans are the things that get dirty, broken, or just plain disappear.
I don't mean any disrespect to your mother but she was wrong when she told you "it didn't just walk away"
'Cause sometimes gear DOES just..walk away.

Here's another brand to add to my list: Lifeproof

I've had a Lifeproof case for a couple years for my iphone. The corners/border is delaminating and ripping from the case front. I submitted a warranty claim to Lifeproof and in 1 day they approved a replacement cover. It's been shipped and is on the way.
