I have not bought a full sized multi-tool since buying a Leatherman Surge over a decade ago, which I have gotten a lot of use out of.

The Gerber Center Drive reviewed below caught my eye, I like the elongated screwdriver.

I looked at one at my local supplier, and as usual, I was not impressed with Gerber's quality.

I have one.  It's a little heavier than a standard Gerber.  I bought it because I tend to use the screwdriver on a multi tools more than anything else.  This thing is great for the screwdriver portion.  The blade is probably the biggest I have seen on a multi tool.  The pliers are pretty much the same as any other Gerber tool.  It has a small collection of tools within one of the handles, the other is empty because of the center drive and knife blade. It is made in the U.S.A. which is a good selling point for some.  My only disappointment is it has a few plastic parts in areas I think will hit the ground first if dropped.
