Does anyone have any suggestions on a knife-less multitool? I cannot carry a blade on me to work (school) without getting permission from the principal, which is not likely to happen. Pliers, scissors, and screwdriver are the three tools I would primarily need. I am a special education teacher, so having those tools for assistive technology devices come in handy.

My Leatherman surge allowed me to remove the saw and switch it out with another. I'm near certain I could remove any of the tools, so thats an option. You could also get a keybar or something similar and add additional tools to that (this was mentioned in another thread). Here is a link to Keybars site and additional tools (Im in no way affiliated with them).

If you want a full sized Leatherman you could go with the Knifeless Rebar

Thanks for the suggestion, but the saw and other cutting instrument both count as knives that would not be allowed on school campuses. I may have to resort to a small tool kit that I keep in my classroom instead of an EDC tool.

Also, check out the Victorinox Swiss Card, they have a few different models. They do come with a knife, but you can just slide it out and leave it at home.

Leatherman PS Style. Only cutting tool is scissors and it's TSA friendly so should be fine in a school. Comes with a clip for a belt loop. Can accept the Leatherman flat bits in the carabinder/ bottle opener area. Just seen it on a youtube video and have no experience with this "mod".
