After many years of telling myself that my multi-tool knife was sufficient for my EDC (a CKRT Lil'Guppie) I finally purchased a modest dedicated pocket knife (3 inch blade & 3.25 inch handle, give or take). When I wear jeans, I have no problem carrying it in the coin pocket. However, I'm an attorney and during the work week, I either wear suits or dress pants. My question is for the folks who also have to dress professionally during the week - where do you carry your EDC Knife when you don't have a coin pocket to use?

when wearing a suit it's usually a small traditional which slips straight into my pocket.
Same thing form me. Even when I'm wearing chinos I don't like to clip knives on my pockets, I just think it looks (an feels) out of place.
Like Ben I pick a small one, usually a Vic, and toss it inside my pocket.

I carry a Boker Gnome fixed blade in a small sheath in my suit pants and it disappears. Doesn't disturb the lie of my suit at all and works well for any general chores. I carry a Clinch Pick fixed blade on my off-side, horizontally on my belt, for "social work". Also works well with my suits.

I work as a meat-cutter (43 years of pure hell, now semi-retired) and I usually carry three knives. One, a SAK Recruit on my keys, a mini-trapper in my LFP with my change and wallet, and then a modern folder of some sort in my RFP along with my phone. Any more junk and my pants will fall down (I already have a belt and suspenders).
