Batteries do get annoying after a while.

Anyone can recommend a USB powered EDC flashlight?

I have the original Luxor and if you want something a bit larger with AMAZING output and features then this new improved model on Kickstarter is definitely worth it.

I decided to replace my non-USB chargeable torches and have:

Fenix UC35 - 960 lumen

https://www.fenix-st...led-flashlight/

Nitecore MH20 - 1000 lumen

http://flashlight.ni...om/product/mh20

I probably prefer the Nitecore as it is a more compact unit. The only issue I have had is the belt pouch has fallen off a couple times as the velcro didn't hold together particularly well.

From the people who use these types of lights regularly (usb powered), what type of battery life are you getting off them?

I have a Fenix UC35 I keep in my truck. The longest I have ever used it continuously was about 45 minutes on high power, and it had no noticeable reduction in power.

I just purchased the Thrunite TC20 USB charged 3800 Lumen light. This thing is unbelievable for a light with a lens about a inch round. It has quickly become my favourite light. It fits in my hand and a jacket pocket perfectly. Super bright and lights up my tree line at 400 meters out.

Congratulations on your new purchase!

Did you opt for the cool, or the neutral version of this light?
