I was wondering if anybody has ever run out of ink with their fisher space pens (any cartridge type) and how long it took for it to run out. Of course it depends on how much you use it, but I am wondering if I will ever run out of ink in mine. I use mine about every other day just to write a few words. I can't remember ever using a pen until it was dry because I either lost it before that happened, or the ball point just stopped working with the pen still full of ink. Any experiences?

I got a Fisher bullet in October of 2015 and the medium point cartridge it came with finally ran out last November. I replaced it with a fine point which is still going strong. I write a few notes every day and use it to do the newspaper crossword, if that helps.

Fisher refills will write 3 times longer than a normal ballpoint (normal ballpoint 1 linear mile, Fisher 3.) That being said, they also will not dry out if left in a drawer for years with the design.
