Hi,

I'm looking for a wallet to carry 6-8 cards (2-3 of them embossed) and usually 10-15 bills.

Here are my preferences:

The wallet needs to be able to accomodate US and foreign bills.

The wallet can be made of leather and/or metal (I assume Aluminum). I don't like plastic or cloth or ripstop fabric wallets

I don't require RFID protection.

I prefer standard flat placing for the bills, not external to the wallet nor that they be held by some metal clip or rubber band.

I've looked at the Secrid wallet, it can't comfortably hold more than 2-4 bills max.

The Wally BiFold Wallet seems nice but it holds the bills by a metal clasp that seems fragile and the rubber contour around the wallet will certainly deteriorate quite quickly. I once had a premium case for one of my phones that basically had the same design - and that's what happened to it.

I also looked at the Exentri, but their Web site does not mention the bill capacity. The Cascade Wallet also looks nice but again, I don't know how many bills the extra leather cover can hold.

I'd appreciate your recommendations.

Thank you,

Daniel

It sounds like you need a bifold. holding 6-8 cards and 10-15 bills is a ton of stuff, and bifolds are going to be it. Front pocket wallets won't accommodate that well.

If you can spend the money... the ashland fat herbie looks great for you:https://ashlandleath...-bifold-wallets

If you CAN REALLY SPEND THE MONEY, there is a shell cord version that will be a lot more luxurious and durable, though the original isnt that bad.

The reaosn is, since it has 4 card pockets you wont stretch out the leather too much by putting more than 2 cards in each of the slots. It accomidates most currencies flat too.

It's not a front pocket wallet, but you can't really get that.  8 cards + 15 bills isn't front pocket material even without the wallet.

If you dont like the footprint, the Tailfeather Finch https://tailfeather....nch-roo-naturallooks also great. It comes in both kangaroo (an amazing leather) and Horween leathers. Roo is super durable. I have a 2 year old Tailfeather sparrow (old design) in red kangaroo and just love it.

Bellroy is a popular company in which I have been sent review samples and owned a few. When I first got into wallets 3 or 4 years ago they were among the first I really coveted. They will serve the person well, but they aren't build to last a lifetime. That doesnt mean they aren't durable, but they are machine sown and use a good not great leather. What is really good is their dying process: the colors on their leathers are very cool!

When I travel, I don't carry my normal wallet. I carry http://shop.eaglecre...?CategoryId=313 .

If you want to rethink what you carry every day, and maybe have multiple wallets (one for edc, one for when you need some more, one when you don't need much, one when you travel) you might have a more comfortable time finding nice wallets.

Feel free to post some wallets  or message me if u want a second opinion before you buy.

I recommend the Capsule wallet- It could hold 6-8 cards and 10-15 bills and still be pretty thin. I'm not sure about international currency though, but I THINK it can accommodate it!

I recommend the DUN Wallet. Its a fantastic wallet, slim, easy to quickly access cards and cash and attractive. You can read my full review here at my website:

Bellroy bifold wallets seem like the thing you would appreciate. There's the Bellroy Note Sleeve which seems to fit most of your criteria.

Enjoyed this wallet and have had many compliments on it
I was really worried to buy this new product for my boyfriend. He has specific taste; I mean he doesn’t like any big brand signs, zipper and bright colors; leather should be perfect and durable and the wallet must have rfid blocking. So, I bought DiLoro Italy Men's Leather Bifold Wallet RFID Blocking Black
The leather is good quality. The wallet holds many credit cards. The drawback is that you don't have any space to have coins. Cards don't fall out, money doesn't fall out. Very expensive made. After 3 month of use he has not any scratches. Works great. I would recommend and buy again it like the present for my friends.Attached File  IMG_0883.JPG   181.03KB   0 downloads

I've used this one from Allett for the last 9 years.

Weighs almost nothing - holds 24 cards and lots of bills and is SUPER slim.

I have seen the Exentri and I think it is awesome. Very well built. I have a friend who has been using it for close to 2 years and the leather has aged very nicely. Card slots has loosened overtime because a lot of cards has been put in it.

The way it is built, it is definitely made for full capacity. Holding more than 10 bills will not be a problem for sure.

Personally, I run my own wallet design company but I got to say the Exentri will definitely be something that will fit what you are looking for. :)

I purchased the Kinzd RFID blocking men's leather Trifold wallet for my husband. He's very happy with it. He's mentioned it is easy to get his credit cards out and enough room to hold his money.

Nice looking wallet, and it is pretty slim. Love the license ID holder as well. Very functional and sleek wallet. We have owned in the past (Fossil, Magellan, Polo) and is smooth to the touch. Lightweight and decently thin for a tri-fold, sometimes he can't tell that it's in his pocket and he haa to double check that he didn't leave it somewhere. He's used this wallet non-stop for about two months and there is no notable wear-and-tear. Very soft-leather tri-fold wallet.

He has never had a card fall out. He has packed it pretty full with credit cards, membership cards, Metro Card, library card, etc and it still closes and looks decently compact. The RFID block works well; the wallet completely blocked the card reader at work from reading my badge, no matter which way he turned it. At work we use card readers and ID badges to get in and thru doors. He put my badge in the wallet and the reader wouldn't pick it up. Then he put the badge on the outside of the wallet facing the reader and, to our surprise, the reader didn't pick it up until he moved the wallet about 3 inches away. If you want a wallet that definitely blocks e-ticket pockets, is good quality and comes from a company that backs their products 100% then buy it.

Other than that, great mens slim trifold leather front pocket wallet. Great product!
