Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had a cheap source for those highly breakable springs they use in SAKs, preferably one in Australia or ships here on the cheap. I had a look at eBay but $5 per Spring is a bit rich. Any info appreciated!

(P.s. Sorry admins if this is the wrong section, feel free to move as necessary.)

Send an email to whichever company made your knife and ask who is close to you. Or ask how much to send them to you directly, and explain you have a really hard time finding them where the shipping fees aren't exorbitant. Maybe they will cut you a deal.

Here in the US I look for the springs in knife shops, sporting/hiking shops, "apothecary" type shops (the ones that sell shaving gear, scents, soaps, EDC), and luggage shops.

I know - US$9 is steep but you get 6 of them here on Amazon.

I had believed that Victorinox had a lifetime warranty? Why pay when you can get it fixed for free? Any local dealer should be able to send it off.
