Dear friends,

I very glad to inform you about the new start up project that is doing (engineering and sewing) special urban bags, backpack and accessories for survival/EDC enthusiasts. It is Canadian (Quebec) brand “Labo de Sacs” [Laboratory of bags, in Engl.]. Please see our site www.labodesacs.com and the first promo on YouTube https://www.youtube....h?v=u1hODwv8lSU

Our first product is pochette for urban EDC kit named as “LeBourgeois”. It is a double-sided colored, 6-in-1 bag made from cordura 1000d and as much Titanium fittings as possible. One side (black) of the bag is for using in city, whereas another side (woodland camo) – for green zone of urban area i.e. for park.

I would be glad to answer on any questions,

/survival/EDC enthusiast for 25+ years,

certified in alpinism and mountain hiking,

PhD, Founder of Labo de Sacs/

There is a paradigm about the best (#1) application of tactical bags for carrying of urban EDC kit. However, tactical bags were engineered for tactical purposes, but not as a bag for carrying of urban EDC kit. The same stories with other bags styles. What are principles of engineering of  urban EDC bag? Nobody can answer on this question now. At the Labo de Sacs we have our own opinion about the main ones:

-          The Grey Man concept

-          Cordura 1000d

-          Titanium fitting and buckles

-          “Sunguard” polyester thread

-          3+ stitching

-          Max number of carry options

-          Ergonomic

-          Mil-spec components

-          No zippers

-          Roll-top lid design

-          Double-sided colored or Bicolored: one side for city, another one for green zone of urban area

-          Limited lifetime warranty for manufacturer’s defects & 5 or even 10 years of free of charge repair warranty for any accidental damages (irrespective of reason). We must be friendly to environment.

What do you think about it?

Dear friends,

4th part of our movie about 6-in-1, mini urban EDC pochette called “LeBourgeois” is available on YouTube!

In this movie we are showing safety features of our urban EDC pochette. It will be interesting to see yours comments about LeBourgeois pochette. Please see details on the site www.labodesacs.com  and on our channel in YouTube https://www.youtube....e5mYdlu-7Du0whw

In particular, what do you think about materials, colors, price, sizes, engineering, etc.? We would be glad to answer because it is our great hobby as well as we spent 1,5 years for engineering /regular tests, selection of materials, selection of colors, etc./ of LeBourgeois bag. Commercial significance of the project is low, because we will sew only up to 50 bags per month. So, like a Bugatti car every our product will be rare on market.

This bag is very unusual. We are considering it as a first model in the line of independent urban EDC style that we are trying to develop. Of course, it is for those urban survival/EDC enthusiasts whom do not like to use an excellent tactical-like bags, backpack and accessories for urban purposes. As we know, each survival/EDC enthusiast has a collection of EDC bags. Our idea is in engineering of “dream bag” that you will carry every day for decades. Thus, it must be extremely durable, lightweight, ergonomic, modular, etc. What is important for you?
