So I carry my (admittedly small) daily load out in my front pocket.

Every day starts with a small hide and seek game in "the drawer" for my knife, light and pen.

So I came up with this pocket sheath idea. This is my 3rd iteration, and its getting better.

SAK Classic, Maratac AAA and Fisher Space Pen.

Everytime I come across custom leather or metal/CNC work I curse my lack of crafting ability. I seriously want to look into the possibility of working on my own gear in the future. I mean look at this guy, for example.

Looks excellent. I recently did something similar with a cutoff from a Blackhawk belt. Yours is much more sophisticated looking though

I got that leather on eBay. It was too thick (10 oz) and I'm redesigning it for pocket sheath mark 3. I'll be using some 4oz veg tan from Tandy.

Pocket sheaths are enormously practical and useful, here's my attempt at making one

Been wanting to post this for a few weeks now... I'm not going to take credit for the idea since I stole from somebody's EDC submission picture from a while back. Basically, a wide fabric elastic sewn in 3 spots to create 3 sleeves.  Currently sporting a Leatherman Squirt P4 multitool, Thrunite Ti3 flashlight, and lip balm (this slot is usually for my Swiss Army Tinker knife).

Very nice! The fuzzy sized might start to become a problem when it starts getting all the stuff dirty. Get a Skife from CS OSborne they are around $10 and some tan kote to slick it down.

You'll have given me some good ideas. I hate having stuff at the bottom of my pocket knocking against itself.

Wally, that was exactly the reason why I decided to make this.  No more clanging!
