That is actually really special. Well done.

Creasing and edging just make the project "Pop" don't they. Very nice.
Mason go to the Tandy web site and get Al Stohlman's book "The Art of Hand Stitching" ... I still refer to it all the time.
His series on making cases is great to as is the how to make holsters book if you are into trying that.

Looks amazing, Tiago!! I just learned how to saddle stitch, so I'm very excited to buy some more leather and get cracking!
Thank you! If you have any questions feel free to ask and i will try to help!

Thanks, Murray! I'll check it out! I just unstitched a simple wallet prototype I had made before I started saddlestitching, and I just restitched it! It was satisfying. I may post a pic sometime soon. I would love feedback! You'll be surprised to know what "tools" I've been using in lieu of traditional ones!Creasing and edging just make the project "Pop" don't they. Very nice.

7/8oz is what i recommend for holsters.

Mason,
While everyone has their preferences I would make a further suggestion on leather weights for holsters: (total weight if lined):
- Light duty or light weight weapon:6/7
- Medium duty or light weight weapon: 8
- heavy duty or weight weapon: 9/10
I make almost all my holster from 8-10 oz hides and as Tiago has said 7/8 would cover most applications.
If your making a holster fro all day personal or duty carry better to ere on the heavy side.
Check out Leatherworker.net for lots of experience based tips on holster making. It is a great resource and good folks on the forum.
Have fun!!

Here's front and back pictures of the wallet I saddle-stitched. I know the edges could be way better, but I used scrap leather for it. Let me know what you think, and if you have any tips that would be awesome!
It holds three cards and cash (very tightly).
