Brass is also my theme for 2015, and on that note my Scout Hook + Prometheus Beta arrived last night! Need a black SAK Manager, those keys redone in brass/silver, and a new USB 3.0 flash drive, but I am quite enjoying the new pieces despite their weight. Oof, brass is heavy.

Yep!  I'm doing the brass thing right this year.

As for the Prometheus stuff...all of it...is just so NICE!  I appreciate all the work Jason Hui's doing, and I really hope it soon spills over into the watch realm.

That's it. I've had that little Victorinox for about 15 years. :)

Very nice. I carried the Victorinox until the scales broke off. I replaced it, of course!

Mine gets the most use of anything I carry. The Classics are great. Love how yours looks. I give them as gifts all the time.

You know what amazes me? In all this time, the damned blade is still tight in the scales! Not one bit of wobble and still snaps shut.

Yeah mine too. If the scales weren't shattered, I'd still carry the old one, still works great. I still have it, it's with my other knives (so we're clear, the knives are stored in a climate controlled strongbox lined with daisy petals or some shit).

Yes yes. So I don't cause any more unintentional heart attacks, I'm using rose petals, for clarification ;)

Here's my keychain...nothing special to be honest.

I have my keys, a carabiner to attach the entire thing to my trousers, and a bottle opener (the blue fish).

In my home key there's a cover with a tiny light (the little blue one): it's useful to see the door lock at night, expecially when I'm pretty drunk  :D

The "humanity+" red tag has no pourpouse, but I keep it because I designed it and had it 3d printed by a friend, although it didn't come up very well.

My keychain looks like a mess, I know. Anyway I'm looking to upgrade it with a small flashlight, a tiny blade and perhaps a magnifier glass.

Joe, how did you go about getting the paint off your Shard?  I've used a couple chemical paint strippers to remove the coating from various fixed blade knives, but still curious about what you did here...

I tried stripper and it didn't touch it so I used a die grinder with a scotch brite pad and it came on off, so basically I sanded it off, it's pretty tough paint.

It looks really good. Stands out a bit from all the black ones out there.
